High Index Traffic Accidents: HITA Project by Connect3 Marketing

Objective: Reduce the number of accidents on our streets, roads and highways in Texas and eventually all of the United States.

Our Goal: Encourage/require transportation Apps to start incorporating warning features when you are approaching a zone with a high index of traffic accidents.

It would be very easy for map apps to add a HITA warning icon on the maps and in the detailed directions when your route will be going through one of these Accident-prone intersections in our city roads. If all navigation apps standardized and incorporated this warning sign, we would be able to reduce the number of accidents and make our streets safer.

Please sign petition on change.org. The link below will take you the petition page. We can collectively make a big difference in our communities.

Integrate HITA to all navigation maps

While in route, it’s very likely that you will come across a very specific coordinate (a street corner, a curve on a road that has overwhelmingly registered many accidents. We know that accidents happen every day ,but we don’t know which exact coordinate has a High Index of Traffic Accidents (HITA).

Accident on January 2nd, 2022.  This accident occurred in an intersection identified as a High Index Traffic Accident intersection.  There are weekly accidents that happen at this intersection in Houston.

We are asking the public to join us in petitioning that navigational and transportation maps start incorporating these warning signs. Please join us by sharing this with your local, state and federal departments of transportation.
